This is a little video I shot of doing a take in the studio with Suzanne Vega - for the song Frank and Ava, from her Beauty and Crime record. It's a great record - probably my favorite that I've ever done. The bar was kept at it's absolute highest from start to finish - great producer (Jimmy Hogarth), great artist (Suzanne), great rhythm section (Tony Shanahan and Gerry Leonard), great studio (Sear sound), great tracking engineer (Emery Dobyns), great mix engineer (Chad Blake), and great mastering engineer (Bob Ludwig). That's what it takes to make an A+ record.
